Bentham is a small market town, with a population of just over 3000, situated in the Craven district on the western edge of North Yorkshire. Two settlements make up "Bentham", High Bentham and Low Bentham
From our Railway station we have direct links to Leeds to the East or Carnforth to the west, should you feel in need of a brief encounter. Bentham is ideally situated as a base for visiting the Forest of Bowland, The Yorkshire dales or the Lake District national parks. Our tourist information section has been published, although there is still some way to go.
