Parish Profile

Parish Profile

The Bentham Parish Profile provides a snapshot of the parish in terms of its social, economic,
environmental and transportation characteristics. It is one of 14 profiles produced for each parish in
Craven (outside the national park) with a population of more than 1000 people.

The Bentham Parish Profile has been produced jointly by Craven District Council’s Planning Policy Team
and Bentham Town Council. Bentham Town Council has provided information and views on the type of
place Bentham is, how it functions and the current issues that exist in the parish. This information has
been used to produce a profile highlighting assets and facilities that exist in Bentham, together with
aspects of Bentham that should be preserved and areas that are considered to be in need of
improvement.

The current Bentham Parish Profile is available from the Craven District Council website
