Welcome to the website of the Bentham Town Council.

The Council is made up of elected members of the public who give of their time freely to help administrate, publicise and promote the community in which we live.

Bentham consists of two communities,
High Bentham and Low Bentham.

Located at the western boundary of North Yorkshire
we are close to the borders of Lancashire and Cumbria.

Linked via Rail to Leeds or Carnforth and close to the A65 trunk road.
We have a variety of industry, commerce and tourism.
We are ideally placed to visit our moors and hills as well as the attractions of
  The English Lake District, The Yorkshire Dales and The Trough of Bowland.
